Video release from the LESSONS album, directed by the immensely talented and imminently civilized Joseph Taglieri.
We interrupt this band for your regularly scheduled bar fight spilling out into the street. That was Flannagan’s and this was Attic of Love. Had to search the archives for this one, but thought it might bring back some memories, flashbacks, nightmares, late night regrets, etc… The brawl in the middle is my favorite part.
The lyrics of this song were built on titles of Salvadore Dali’s paintings. Although this was written during a dark time in my life, I’m particularly proud of how it turned out. Dru’s crushing guitar riff brought it all together. And yes I really did have that dream about wrestling Dali.
Attic of Love music video from the Zazen album; about the benefits of Zen meditation…. Right.

A great Jethro Tull tune from the early 70’s. I used to force my son to play the guitar part so I could play the flute in performance. Needless to say he rebelled a looong time ago and is out there doing amazing stuff of his own, but the song brings fond memories of when we performed together.
Cover of Dr. Bogenbroom by Jethro Tull, off the Living in the Past album. This one always spoke to my inner cynical teenager.
Gord Downie of The Tragically Hip wrote this beautiful song about hope. Gord died less than a month after my dad passed away. The world lost two great men, and two amazing voices. So this little tribute, in memory.
Up to Me by Jethro Tull off the Aqualung album; another sloppy cover of a song I never quite got around to really learning. Apologies for the overdubbed laughter.
